I already liked the look of the Arrancar in the series before I decided to buy this one, but WOW. Arrancar (GRIMMJOW. YUM.) backed with the insane abilities of Honey Canon and you get this. My only complaint is that the doujinshi is positively tiny at 18 pages. More please!

I forget which episode and manga chapter it's referencing, but Syuku is about how Renji and Rukia ge tthe cloaks they were to Hueco Mundo. I remember that Ichigo asks where Rukia got her cloak, and she mentions that Byakuya gave the cloaks to them. And I also remember the blush she had when she said it ♥ Quite funny and sweet, and who doesn't love an over-protective Byakuya?

Hitsugaya indulges in some under-age drinking here, but oh, does he do it so sweetly ♥
My favourite part of this doujinshi has to be the dynamic that you see between the division 10 captain and his vice-captain. I think that Hitsugaya and Matsumoto's relationship is unique in all of Soul Society, and Haruya Takamiya captured their playful and serious sides very well.
And if you do not like either pairing, then buy it for the cover alone. Simple but beautiful.

Young GinRan, from when they have only been in Soul Society for a bit--when Gin isn't a captain yet but a vice captain to Aizen and Rangiku hasn't been assigned to Hitsugaya.
There is also a story of them when they are younger and still struggling to survive. It's winter and little Rangiku is sleeping away on her futon when Gin sneaks up. One moment, he's just watching her sleep and the next he's whipped the cover off her. Rangiku, of course, is not pleased. After blasting him, she turns away and falls back asleep. The next time she wakes up, she turns to find that Gin is gone and nowhere to be seen.
She finds him outside, playing in the snow. And like the cover shows, he's making a snowman. Rangiku watches him for a while before drawing a face on the top most ball of snow. It looks like Gin! Gin retaliates by adding extra bits of snow to the snowman--breasts. And you know there's only one person with assets like that...
Rangiku ends up mercilessly kicking the snowman apart, much to the disappointment of Gin. He wants to rebuild but finds that his hands are too cold to do so. Rangiku watches him blow on his hands to warm them up and remembers back to when she first meets Gin. He took care of her then, so she would take care of him now. Taking the scarf from around her neck, Rangiku puts it on Gin. She turns away, embarrassed, but he catches her from behind and hugs her.
And being Gin, he goes further and lifts up the throw that Rangiku has on over her kimono and they end up sharing the jacket together. This scene is definitely a sweet GinRan moment--especially when they try and walk!

This probably has to be my favourite RenRuki doujinshi that Honey Canon has put out so far -- that is, out of the G-rated doujinshi she has produced ;) The situations that Haruya Takamiya is able to put these two in just astounds me every time.
And what's most enjoyable is how in-character they are. Renji and Rukia still have that snappy, almost competitive edge to their relationship and yet when they are alone, the soft, intimate moments come out of them too. The scene where Renji pats his knee, telling Rukia where exactly he wanted her to sit was just priceless.
