This is a very special doujinshi. Not only because it's English (meaning I can actually read it), but it also proves that two fans in two completely different parts of the world can come together and make something worthwhile. And this is a great example of it.
While the doujinshi may have been drawn by Morineko and produced by V-Garden, the story itself is by a North American author, Red Rose. Her story had been translated into Japanese, and that's how Morineko came upon it. It's wonderful to know that such a thing is possible. I can only hope that more of this happens, because it can only spread the love.
This doujinshi also reads from left to right, like a regular book, and because it was originally a fanfiction, the entire story is not drawn out. Only certain scenes in the story are illustrated, but what is drawn, is drawn well.
