The entire doujinshi takes places on a bench. Yamato spots a forlorn looking Sakura as he is passing by and sits down. I believe this doujinshi is set a few days after Yamato, Naruto, Sai, and Sakura return after their botched attempt at capturing Kabuto (this is in Shippuuden, for those who don't know). Kabuto was supposed to have been under the now defunct Sasori`s spell, but as Yamato finds out, the spell had been broken quite some time ago by Orochimaru. The big battle between Naruto and Orochimaru that began after that is what Yamato and Sakura discuss—primarily, the transformation that Naruto underwent when he became a mini-version of the kyuubi. Sakura had been noticeably shaken by the entire ordeal, and it's obvious that she blames herself for what had happened to Naruto. He had promised to bring Sasuke back and became a monster in his attempt to do it.
While the art is not as great as the majority of what I collect, I had to jump on this doujinshi for the pairing. I've been a big fan of YamaSaku since Yamato was introduced in the manga, and like how KakaSaku was at the beginning, doujinshi for this pairing is rare. In fact, I still don't have another doujinshi for this couple, and it's been several months since I bought this one. Here's to hoping I find more...
Another thing of note is that—I'm not sure if you can see it on the scan of the cover but—the half obi that comes with the doujinshi also holds a colour postcard of Yamato and Sakura. It's a cute little bonus.
